The Beginning of Winter in Linköping
Its actually snowing, and we have about 4" on the ground now here in Linköping. It feels like winter now. The sun doesnt come up till after 8AM and it is down at 4PM and every day is getting darker and darker. But, I thought it has been a while, so I will update my blog with some new pics of our adventures.
This fall we've been out a lot with Nivos. We found a great forest north of Linköping with LOTS of mushrooms. Both chantarelles and funnel chantarelles. Its been a great year and we have like 10 kilos of dried mushrooms!

Sverige Runt!- Around Sweden with the Family
Been a long time since my last post again, but finally here are some pictures from this summer. It's been pretty eventful. Mom and Ron came over to Sweden, we drove around , saw EVERYTHING, fished, did Stockholm, Ystad, Linköping, Åre, Östersund...the list goes on. Sofia and I also fixed the apartment more, went up North again and did some adventures with Nivos. I wont babble on but show some pictures here! And one last thing....RON CAUGHT HIS FIRST GRAYLING!!! AWESOME!

Norwegian Canoe and Fishing Adventure
Davie, Johan, Morrison and I headed up to the mountains in Norway to canoe, fish and have a great time for a 4 day trip. What started as a miserably cold and wet trip turned into a great adventure.
After a long drive from Linköping, with a stop in Stockholm, we arrived in Sälen to begin our adventure. The weather.....4 degrees Celcius and torrential rain and hail. Nonetheless we headed out to battle the elements, and start our trip from the Norwegian mountain plains to the Swedish border.
We managed to find some great camping spots along the way. The fishing was "great" though, as after the first night of rain, the water rose something like a half meter! Therefore, we could not see the bottom, or tell how deep the water was in many spots. We did manage to catch quite a few nice trout and grayling, so we were happy with the trip.
As I said previously, the trip was not just cold and rainy. As always we ended the trip with great weather! 18 C and sun! Again a fantastic trip! We also would like to thank our hosts/canoe rental providors, Horrmundsgården for their kindness and wonderful canoes! If you want to head up there, we can warmly welcome them! www.horrmundsgarden.se

Nivos in the Woods
The last few days we've been taking Nivos out to the woods to get him to "love" being out there and for something other than our small backyard garden. He loves it! However, the ride out there in his cage is not so fun. He is whining, crying, barking, etc. We just need to keep taking him out to get him used to riding in the cage....especially before Mom and Ron come over here and we are in the car for hours on end!
