Norwegian Canoe and Fishing Adventure

Davie, Johan, Morrison and I headed up to the mountains in Norway to canoe, fish and have a great time for a 4 day trip. What started as a miserably cold and wet trip turned into a great adventure.

After a long drive from Linköping, with a stop in Stockholm, we arrived in Sälen to begin our adventure. The weather.....4 degrees Celcius and torrential rain and hail. Nonetheless we headed out to battle the elements, and start our trip from the Norwegian mountain plains to the Swedish border.

We managed to find some great camping spots along the way. The fishing was "great" though, as after the first night of rain, the water rose something like a half meter! Therefore, we could not see the bottom, or tell how deep the water was in many spots. We did manage to catch quite a few nice trout and grayling, so we were happy with the trip.

As I said previously, the trip was not just cold and rainy. As always we ended the trip with great weather! 18 C and sun! Again a fantastic trip! We also would like to thank our hosts/canoe rental providors, Horrmundsgården for their kindness and wonderful canoes! If you want to head up there, we can warmly welcome them! www.horrmundsgarden.se

Progress and a Growing Puppy!

Nivos is getting better and bigger! He's listening more, learning commands and we have even started a Puppy Course. We try to take him out every day to the woods or to some new adventure, and he is getting much better in the car. So far no crying the last few days....NICE! Check out the videos to see him come in as I call for him and another little hunting shot we took. He is gonna be an awesome bird dog!
